Does Agile work?
I hear this question quite often.
I might answer that according to certain research over 80% of Agile projects are successful, but how meaningful such response is? It only provokes more questions:
- “Why 20% of them fail?“
- “Isn’t it that Agile is applied only to small projects, which are more likely to succeed?“
- “Do you consider all projects that claim to be Agile? Didn’t you reject some that in your opinion aren’t Agile to increase the statistics?“
Therefore instead of giving numbers I prefer to tell in which cases Agile did work, and - of course - in which it did not. Here are some links to stories about application of Agile. Should you know about any other interesting cases, please let me know!
